President Bola Tinubu has expresse sadness over the tragic incident at the Children’s Funfair in Ibadan, Oyo State which resulted in the loss of 35 children and others injured.

The spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, extended his heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of Oyo State, as well as to the grieving families who have lost their beloved children. The President also urgently directed the relevant authorities to investigate the circumstances of this tragedy thoroughly.

The hardship in Nigeria is unbearable and very difficult for the poor masses. The stampede happened because people are desperate to survive. Some families can not afford to eat balanced meals in Nigeria. It is very unfortunate and unacceptable. May God help us.

That's the truth, the poverty level is just too high. May the soul of those poor kids rest in peace

If everyone had enough resources, I doubt this would have happened, or at least it would not have gone to this level. The government needs to do more.
