President Trump slams India: Calls India a dead economy.

The United States President has lambasted India for their close relationship with Russia. He posted this on his Truth social media. He called India a dead economy in that post. The post is below

I don’t care what India does with Russia. They can take their dead economies down together, for all I care. We have done very little business with India, their Tariffs are too high, among the highest in the World.

Likewise, Russia and the USA do almost no business together. Let’s keep it that way, and tell Medvedev, the failed former President of Russia, who thinks he’s still President, to watch his words. He’s entering very dangerous territory!

What do you think of this Trump's outburst on India?

As a long-time Non-Aligned country, India has traded with both East and West ever since gaining their independence in 1947.
That said, in the increasingly fraught relationship btwn the U.S. and China, India can be a major ally for the U.S. if only we could get them to look westward; sometimes that means tough language towards other countries.

No one @Kera believes India has a "dead economy" as they are one of the largest economies in the world outside of the U.S., China and the E.U. but if we're going to begin wrapping up, for instance, the Russian-Ukrainian War, countries like India need to cut every possible tie they have with Russia.

India's economy is moving in right direction. I totally disagree with Donald Trump. He simply want India to dance to his orders even when it is obvious that is not the right thing to do.

We all know the indian economy is not a dead one, he is just ranting cause he didn't get what he wanted.

The problem with Trump is he doesn't know anything. He wants everyone may work as per his will but it doesn't.
