About 70,000 foreign students participated in nationwide protests as Canada moves towards a major immigration overhaul.

Thousands of international students have taken to the streets to protest the new policies introduced by the Justin Trudeau-led federal government.

Demonstrations took place across provinces including Prince Edward Island, Ontario, Manitoba, and British Columbia.

Every day it's one issue or the other. A lot of things will definitely be going through the minds of the students, like where would they start from after now if they are deported, or imagine the amount of money they must have spent before now. It's well though.

I don't even understand why the Canadian government is taking such decisions when the international students are helping to boost their economy.
My thought too. Why all the talks and execution of deportation when they are helping the economy to grow. I don't get it

I think Canada is taking a leaf from Trump. When the students paid through their nose to get admission and spend millions to get visa and accommodation you didn't stop their application. After you have collected all they have, you are telling them to go, is it not wickedness?
