According to the report, one of the Kremlin's most prominent propagandists, Anastasia Kashevarova, unexpectedly revealed openly what Putin's army has become today. She said that the troops at the front are effectively criminalized, and commanders are using mafia methods to cover up their own crimes.

The report also stated that Kashevarova acknowledged that discipline in Russian units has been destroyed and the command structure has deteriorated due to the mass recruitment of prisoners. According to the propagandist, officers deliberately get rid of witnesses to their own crimes. And the commander says that they can't send witnesses because they all stopped and went on the assault; thus, any attempts by investigators to get to the bottom of the crimes are stalled, and cases are simply not opened. The report added that Russians are torturing Russians, and there's no oversight.

Russian troops must leave Ukraine; it is internationally recognized territory. It's 2025, and there are borders that everyone must respect. Ukraine is a sovereign state, and Russian troops must leave Ukraine's internationally recognized territory.

That’s a striking and unsettling report — and it exposes the deep rot within the current structure of Russia’s military machine. When someone like Anastasia Kashevarova, a well-known Kremlin propagandist, admits openly that the army has descended into criminality and chaos, it suggests that the situation on the ground has deteriorated far beyond what official narratives claim. The idea that commanders are using mafia-like tactics and eliminating witnesses shows how corruption and fear now outweigh discipline or ethics.
The broader point you make about sovereignty is absolutely right: in 2025, borders and international law still matter. Ukraine is a recognized, independent state — and Russia’s continued occupation and brutality not only violate those borders but also erode any moral standing it once claimed. What’s happening now inside Russia’s forces reflects a system built on repression and deceit turning inward on itself — Russians torturing Russians, crimes being hidden, and no accountability. It’s a tragic and powerful reminder of how aggression corrodes everything from within.
