According to the report, a video footage has been shared on social media showing a group of drunk Russian soldiers on the frontline. The soldiers are reprimanded by their commander for being drunk ahead of the fighting that will take place the following day.
The report also stated the commander’s question about why they signed up for the army; all five soldiers said they were drunk while signing the conscription contract. One soldier said he joined the army to quit drinking alcohol. The commander reminded the soldier that the army was not a rehabilitation center or a kindergarten, and then nobody would babysit soldiers.
The report added that the commander said the five soldiers were not even fit to be sent to a training ground. Alcoholism is a major problem in the Russian army. It should be noted that over one million Russian soldiers have been killed in Moscow’s war of invasion in Ukraine since February 2002, according to information provided by the General Staff of Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Poor souls. They need help. There's a desperation and emptiness around them that's pitiful. Sad Russia is recruiting homeless people to fight. It was stated in the views or comments that these newly recruited soldiers were beaten badly and died from the beating.
