The month of Ramadan is here as based on the Lunar Islamic calendar this always begins and ends based on the sighting of the moon.
The moon was sighted yesterday Sunday evening which signals the end of Sha’aban, the eight month of the Hijri Calendar, and the starts the Holy month of Ramadan today Monday, March 11.
So Ramadan is the ninth month of Islamic calendar which means Muslims world over fast. it takes about 29 or 30 days based on the sighting of the moon. At this time Muslims will fast from dawn to sunset
