In my country, one of the biggest controversies in real estate management is eviction of tenants. How long from the time of intended eviction should a landlord serve a tenant quit notice to leave the property?

This may vary in different countries. But how long is allowed to notify a tenant of eviction in your country?

The law of my country states that a tenant should be given up to 6 months notice of an eviction. And allowance of a further 3 months if they can't find an accommodation after the initial 6 months has elapsed.
