The increase in prices of goods and services as a result of inflation will also affect online stores. This leads to a situation where they have to increase prices, which in turn might discourage some buyers or decrease net profits.

Higher costs for small online companies equal reduced budgets. With shipping, suppliers, and advertising becoming more costly, they have to manage with less. In such case, their development and keeping open activities can be in danger.

Similarly, consumers can continue to spend with internet shopping even with the rise in inflation to look for promotional offers and save money. This circumstance lets online businesses be in a dominant position if they are consistent in pricing and good customer service.

Inflation not only affects online businesses, offline businesses are also affected. Customers may hesitate to buy with the price increase. Online businesses need to do more promotion and if possible, offer more good deals to attract customers.

I agree with your opinion, where high inflation will affect purchasing power so that demand for your online business will decrease, the stock of goods that accumulate also requires costs, besides inflation will also be followed by an increase in advertising costs, operational costs and prices of raw materials/goods inventory.

Inflation raises costs for online stores, forcing price hikes that may reduce profits or drive away customers. Small shops face tighter budgets due to higher shipping, supply, and ad expenses. Still, stable pricing and strong service can attract deal-seeking buyers and keep businesses competitive.
