Relatives want a person to remain single to inherit money

No, I do see this trend, at least in my city. If relatives want a person to remain single so that they can inherit his/her money, that's just the relatives' wishful thinking.
How could other humans inherit when the heir is alive and even if the person is single he has the full authority of his inheritance.

In some cases, relatives want a person to remain single so that they can inherit a large amount of money, so they may be involved in slander, character assassination. Has anyone noticed this trend?
It is true that situations like this happen and can be very sad. Some people put their own interests ahead of the well-being of their relatives. Slander and damage to reputation are hurtful tactics. But a person has the right to choose their life without pressure. True love should not be accompanied by materialistic desires.
