How can a business owner that has a remote team ensure that remote staff are working at the time they are supposed to work?

The best way to ensure that remote staffs are productive is to set targets within a specific period of time to accomplish.

If I were in charge of remote staff, I would ensure each is optimally productive by assigning tasks and setting deadlines for completing the same. I would also closely track these completions. Every staff member would thus be motivated to remain productive.
