The business of selling groceries can be a very demanding business especially when it is booming. One has to open the business as early as 5: am and close as late as 11: pm.

For a family person, how can a balance be struck between family life and managing the grocery business effectively?

If the business is booming, I think the best thing to do would be to hire someone to assist you. The person can manage the store while you are not around, and this way you can sort out other family issues.

It is the best thing to do. Someone must be hired either at home or for the business to keep the optimum balance for the business owner.

Exactly, it's either you hire a house help to help you sort out things at home, or you get someone to assist you at the shop. You can't do everything yourself.

I think the family really needs that business for achieving it's daily needs. That is why family should give one enough business working time.
Yes it is to schedule for different things appropriately and go for what would help you achieve it

There are no two ways that a family person running a grocery shop needs help to run it well. Most people that do it that way in my country bring their relatives to help them.
