Running a Restaurant: Does one need to go to the market everyday?

I see people that run restaurants wake up very early everyday to try and meet up with the early morning foodstuff market. I really pity them because of the stress.

Does it mean that running a restaurant requires that one must go to the market everyday?

It is those early morning foodstuff markets that deliver foodstuff cheaply to be used in the restaurant. They don't have any option than to go there, unless they have storage facilities to bulk up.

Yes you need to go to the market daily as you can get your foodstuffs fresh and a lot cheaper too

I don't think one needs to go to the market every day. You can buy most of your ingredients in bulk and store them in freezers.

Going to the market really depends on the amount of sale volumes that business makes in a day. A business with high sale volumes maybe required to go to the market almost daily.

Yeah those that wants to maintain their customers know this. You can lure new customers and maintain old ones with fresh meals

If the restaurant has been running and the restaurant owner has found a place/shop selling raw materials such as vegetables, etc., then you can ask your employees to make purchases. In some cases, restaurant entrepreneurs who do not have employees are assisted by family members, be it husband/wife, parents, younger siblings, older siblings, cousins, etc.
