According to the report, the Russian army has lost over 38,000 troops and more than 1,000 pieces of equipment since the beginning of Ukraine's incursion into Russia's Kursk Oblast, Ukraine's Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi said on Jan. 1.

The report said that Syrskyi's statement comes after his visit to Russia's Kursk Oblast to reward the Ukrainian military serving in the area.

The report added that Russia has also stationed approximately 12,000 North Korean soldiers in the region since August to assist in ousting Ukrainian forces. President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Dec. 23 that more than 3,000 North Korean soldiers have been killed or injured since their deployment in Kursk Oblast.

In addition to the report, their casualties have been linked to their lack of knowledge of the terrain and modern drone warfare, according to South Korean MP Lee Sung-kwon.

Putin has no compassion for those killed in the war, 38,000 troops is too many. They died for Putin, not for their country. If they won't follow the law of Putin and Kim, these soldiers will also die.

The amount of lives lost makes me wonder if there is enough land to bury those that lost their lives.
They didn't bury the dead bodies, they left there in cliffs in Oblast Kursk occupied by the Ukrainian troops. They were pitiful. They did not have a decent burial. Putin and Kim have no guilt and conscience.

Putin turned down the proposal of President Trump regarding peace deal with Ukraine. President Zelensky approved the peace deal proposal but Putin is never convinced. He is not bothered with the 38,000 casualties since the start of war.
