'Russia ready to make peace': Trump announces second meeting with Putin, Zelensky

White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt announced on Thursday that Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump will meet privately in Alaska on Friday before having a joint news conference.

Trump warned to impose "very severe consequences" if Russian President Putin did not agree to a ceasefire agreement later this week before to the meeting.
