Thus, the number of Azerbaijanis killed in Yekaterinburg as a result of yesterday's attack has reached five. Baku expressed concern over the detention and death of Azerbaijanis in Yekaterinburg on June 27. The Investigative Committee and the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that they were “carrying out a series of measures as part of the investigation of criminal cases on crimes committed in previous years.”The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry called on Russia to investigate the detentions of Azerbaijanis in Yekaterinburg. Baku expressed concern “in connection with the death of compatriots, the serious injuries some of them received, as well as the detention of nine people as a result of a special operation by the Russian FSB in the homes of Azerbaijanis in Yekaterinburg on the morning of June 27.
