According to the report, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval met with Russian President Vladimir Putin on September 12 in St. Petersburg during the BRICS National Security Advisers’ meeting. He briefed Putin on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv, which are part of ongoing efforts to resolve the Ukraine conflict peacefully. The report said that Putin invited PM Modi to a bilateral meeting at the BRICS summit in Kazan on October 22. According to a statement from the Russian Embassy in India, Putin sought a bilateral with PM Modi to finalize various agreements that were reached during PM Modi’s two-day visit to Moscow and to outline prospects for the near future.

The report added that during their meeting, Putin also referred to PM Modi as a “good friend.”

India is not a major stakeholder in world politics! India PM is a diplomat and i know he will craftily avoid getting involve in the Russian Ukraine war! Putin have drag a lot of countries like China and North Korea to the war. India should avoid taking part in the conflict.
