According to the report, the Ukrainian army's Rubezh brigade has captured three more Russian soldiers. Two of the hostages are residents of Ukraine's Russia-occupied territories. In the video posted on social media, the soldiers spoke about being tricked into joining the Russian army. The soldiers complained about the dire conditions within the army, saying that they are not provided with proper food and are forced to advance, explaining that otherwise, they would be killed by their commanders. One of the soldiers encountered an incident when his instructor told him that soldiers were merely being used as cannon fodder in the Russian army. Another soldier, who is from Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region, said he had been serving jail time when he was recruited. The soldiers said they had been through hell after joining the war in Ukraine, explaining that sometimes they had to sleep in the same venue where dead bodies were lying. They spoke about the horrors of encountering Ukrainian Babayaga drones, other UAVs, and weapons, and pledged never to fight in the war again.
The war does not bring anything good but disasters, deaths, devastation, and more that one cannot imagine; it is a real happening. These soldiers are pitiful; thankfully, they are in the good hands of the Ukrainian captors.
