According to the report, in the Dobropillia direction, Ukrainian units are conducting one of the most successful operations of recent months. Here Russian Army has found itself in operational encirclement, and its losses significantly exceed those of Ukraine. As the head of the Assault Units Directorate, Valentin Manko reported on Telegram, Ukrainian soldiers are methodically destroying enemy forces, cutting them off from reinforcement routes and covering them with crossfire."In two weeks, we have done what seemed impossible just recently. Through the efforts of the 33rd and 425th assault units, in cooperation with the 1st separate assault regiment, the 24th and 25th assault battalions, as well as the 79th and 82nd airborne assault brigades, the enemy found itself in operational and sometimes tactical encirclement," Manko noted. He added that three large "cauldrons" are already clearly visible on the map, and the Russians have sent their most combat-ready units to this direction to prevent the ring from closing."But even the elite units were unable to stop the pressure from the Ukrainian attack aircraft. The clashes are heavy, the counter-attacks continue, but the loss ratio is on average 1 to 5 in our favor," he emphasized. Manko also noted that more and more occupiers are surrendering."The situation is reminiscent of the Battle of Kursk: the enemy is surrendering weapons en masse, unable to withstand our pressure," the military man emphasized.

The report also stated that the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Sirsky, notes the effectiveness of Ukrainian units in neutralizing Russian marines deployed to strengthen offensive operations in the Dobropillia area. According to him, thanks to the coordinated actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the National Guard, Ukrainian troops are not only successfully holding back the enemy's onslaught but are also gradually regaining control over strategically important areas of the Donetsk region. Syrsky emphasizes that these operations demonstrate a high level of tactical thinking and the ability of Ukrainian forces to adapt to changes in the combat situation. The frontline in Ukraine’s Donetsk region has been creeping towards Dobropillia for the past 18 months. Located not far from the hotspot of Pokrovsk, this coal mining town has served as a refuge for thousands of displaced people throughout the full-scale war. The town comes under attack daily, residents said; sometimes, Moscow’s drones fly overhead every 30 minutes. The sound of frequent explosions could be heard in the distance. But until recently, Dobropillia’s residents paid them little heed. After three and a half years of all-out war with Russia, the roar of missiles and buzz of drones had become the norm.
