According to the report, in the Sumy region, a group of 10 soldiers from the occupying Russian army attempted to carry out an operation using specialized vehicles designed for movement in the snow. However, they encountered strong resistance from the 71st Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a result, four members of the group were eliminated, while the remaining six servicemen, realizing the futility of resistance, surrendered.
The report stated that drone footage of the incident has been circulated on Telegram channels. Oleksandr Yarmosh, deputy commander of the 71st Separate Airmobile Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces, said in an interview with the Mi-Ukraine channel that Ukrainian defense forces had thwarted another attempted offensive by the occupying Russian army in the Sumy region. During the assault, the enemy’s attack group was destroyed.
The report said that to the command representative, Russian troops once again attempted to use the pipe infiltration tactic they had employed previously, but this time they changed the entry point. They decided to make a hole 100 meters away from the previous location. They believed this would help them break through our defense. But, as you can see, it didn’t work. As a result of the operation, Ukrainian paratroopers eliminated nearly 100 percent of the Russian servicemen involved in the breakthrough attempt.
