Sanjoy Roy the accused in the R G Kar lady doctor's rape and murder case has been given life imprisonment.

The civic volunteer Sanjoy Roy who was accused in the rape and murder of the lady doctor of Kolkata RG Kar hospital has been sentenced to life imprisonment. However that he is not the only culprit is evident as the young doctor had multiple injuries all over her body which couldn't have been done by only one person. Moreover he isn't that strong to have broken the doctor's girdle bone, the strongest bone in a woman's body. The actual culprit is being shielded who is some influential person.

The parents have been asked by the Supreme Court to refile the case only after complete investigation which the Crime branch is delaying.
