Saudi Arabia has executed six Iranians convicted of drug trafficking

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday, January 1 that Saudi Arabia has executed six Iranians convicted of drug trafficking,

According to a statement from the Ministry of Interior, the executions took place in Dammam, on the kingdom’s Gulf coast. The Iranians were sentenced for "clandestinely introducing hashish" into Saudi Arabia. The exact date of the executions was not disclosed.

Those Iranian drug traffickers were people of the Assads. The brother of the Syrian president Assad manufactured illegal drugs and traffickers were all Muslims.

Saudi Arabia government is very strict when it comes to drug related cases. But the punishment of death penalty is very harsh and very inhuman. Life imprisonment is far better than outright death. May their soul rest in peace.
