Saving up early this year

Although the holidays are over, I have already started saving for this year's holidays. I tend to spend a lot during the holiday season, which often leaves me with an empty wallet. Fortunately, I have some savings in both my digital bank and my traditional bank, though it’s not much. I want to avoid using those funds just for the holidays, so I decided to start saving early for Christmas and New Year this year to make it easier on myself. Are you considering saving early for Christmas as well? While it may sound ridiculous to some, I believe it can help reduce expenses during the holiday season.

I have not increased my savings especially during festive seasons. As usual, I put a portion of my monthly earnings to a fixed deposit account.

In my country, this type of savings at the bank does not earn interest, so I do not intend to increase my savings balance, but am more investment oriented.

Even if the daily savings is quite small, it can be very significant when that holiday actually comes.

Now am not saving anything. Am trying to pay off outstanding debt and then start saving. I have a lot of needs that need urgent attention. Saving should wait till further notice.
