Their acquaintances related to the police about the continuous quarrels whose reason were the woman's weight.

It is a sad thing that a person kills another person because of the changes in her body after pregnancy. Every woman knows that the body changes after giving birth and that does not want to be a shame. She had good plans for her life and her legal career.

Despite such a kind of divorce goes against the Bible's rules (not by the woman's side who can't lose weight: the husband is who sins), it's a million times better to divorce (even for a so futile reason as the gained weight) than ending in a tragedy. It's likely he married cause her social status, as he was 12 years younger than the wife.

Well, until I know, the family-oriented American society would consider such a divorce cause the weight as futile (and in fact it is) and would have frowned upon. In any way, it's still a very better option to divorce than to kill. Obvious.
