Scientists have reconstructed the face of a 1.5 million-year-old fossil from Ethiopia. Although its head resembles that of a typical Homo erectus, its face and teeth resemble those of an even more ancient ancestor. This has painted a new picture of how humans evolved and sparked a heated debate.

The discovery suggests that there was a large-scale migration and interbreeding between different groups of early humans. It is like solving the mystery of our ancient clans in Ethiopia.

This goes to show how the things we eat, the places we go, and even interact with can create changes even to our DNA as humans.
