According to the report, former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV believes that Senator Risa Hontiveros is the strongest candidate to challenge Vice President Sara Duterte in the 2028 presidential election, should she run. Trillanes expressed his preference for Hontiveros over Senator Bam Aquino and former Vice President Leni Robredo, praising her track record of standing up to the Duterte family and her bravery in holding the vice president accountable for her actions.

Hontiveros, an opposition keeps on barking like a dog. She will never win the 2028 Presidential election. Sara Duterte has 85 million strong supporters.
