Superstar Shahrukh Khan is a very popular superstar of Bollywood. He has ruled box offices for decades and has given some remarkable movies. He is also called King Khan as he has ruled Bollywood for decades.
There is another feather in his cap for this actor who has a huge fan club, not only in India but across the Globe. He will be felicitated with the lifetime achievement award, the Pardo alla Carriera at the 2024 Locarno Film Festival. The organisers of the event shared this news lately and it has brought a huge tide of joys for his huge fan club. Mr. Khan will be receiving the award on August 10 at the open -air venue Piazza Grande. One of his iconic movies, Devdas, will be also screened during the festival.
It's a honour and another accolades for King Khan.

You seem to be a big fan of him. I would not say that I am fanatic about his acting, but he definitely has a charm of being a superstar. I liked him from hos TV days when he made his debut in Fauji and Circus. Loved his delivery in My name is Khan, Devdas and few more. Well, we have better actors than him like Rajkumar Rao, but yes, he steals the show as a complete commercial cinema superstar. His largest ones like Pathaan and Jawaan were not up to mark and that's my personal experience.
 
Rajkumar Rao is very talented actor but he is not as charming as other actors are. In comercial movies you need to have good looks to get liked by the audience. I liked Shahrukh Khan in movies Dar, Bazigar and many other movies.

You have a point here. On big silver screen, people are looking for bigger than life experience. Something that would take them away from the reality and entertain them. Shahrukh is definitely the best choice. And I kust say that he acts pretty well. Baazigar and Darr are my favourite movies too. There are few more where he gas done a very good job.

Yes, the age is evident now. No doubt that he is a very good actor and we have seen him perform in many movies. Few of his movie choices were not good, but despite that they did well on box office. He can do more age appropriate character roles now. I liked him in Dear Zindagi.

Yes, that was a nice movie. I loved all the songs of the movie. But somehow, I could never finish the movie at a stretch. I missed it when it was released in theatre. Later, I watched it a few times but in bits and pieces.

I have seen it till the end. But not at a stretch. It is actually a very emotional one.
