According to the report, the Russian army has created "field courts" that punish deserters with torture and force them to fight each other to the death. The Atesh partisan movement reports this. Atesh agents at the headquarters of the 104th Airborne Assault Division, fighting in southern Ukraine, reported that command has created mobile groups to search for those attempting to leave their positions. These units operate not only on the front lines but throughout Crimea. They are even known to seize detainees from the military police to punish deserters using their own methods. Soldiers caught attempting to escape are subjected to so-called "field courts." The punishments are particularly brutal. Soldiers are forced to fight each other to the death, tied to vehicles and driven in front of the line, or thrown into pits without food or water. The largest number of such cases of reprisals was recorded in the 328th Airborne Assault Regiment, operating in the Kherson direction. In this way, the occupation command is attempting to curb mass desertions and escapes from the front lines. These actions are based on torture, humiliation, and demonstrative cruelty.
What a barbaric scene, killing each other because of hunger and no water. They better surrendered to the Ukraine troops.
