According to the report, Fairfax County police show the moment a toddler is abducted at a mall in Virginia. According to police, the man, identified as 26-year-old Andres Caceres Jaldin, picked up the young girl after she wandered from a play area inside Fair Oaks Mall on July 18th. The child’s mother received a phone call from her husband after realizing their toddler was missing, when she spotted Caceres Jaldin carrying her daughter, according to court records. Upon being confronted by the mother, the man claimed he had only been trying to return the child to her parents, according to the criminal complaint. He then left the mall in a stolen car, which was then traced to a hotel he was staying at in the nearby town of Chantilly, where he was arrested, police said. Caceres Jaldin has faced numerous violent charges in the past, court records show, including assault and battery and malicious wounding.

Parents do understand that traffickers see dollar signs when they see your kid. You wouldn't leave your wallet unattended in a public space, so why are you not keeping an eagle eye on your own kids?
