"Shooting, Explosions..." Israeli Raid Kills 10 in West Bank's Jenin, Hamas Calls for 'Mobilisation'

According to the report, at least 10 Palestinians have reportedly been killed after the Israeli military launched an operation in the occupied West Bank's Jenin refugee camp. The move comes only two days after a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas took effect in the Gaza Strip.

The report said that the Israeli military said on January 21 its forces along with Shin Bet and border police had launched an operation dubbed "Iron Wall" in Jenin. Israeli PM Netanyahu described the operation as "large and significant" which he said is aimed to "eradicate terrorism.”

The report also stated that Netanyahu said the raid was also part of a broader strategy to counter Iran "wherever it sends its arms -- in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen" and the West Bank.

The report added that the Israeli government has accused Iran of attempting to send weapons and money to militants in the West Bank. The Palestinian Red Crescent said that Israeli forces were hindering their access to the area.

Meanwhile, Israeli NGO B'Tselem accused the government of using the Gaza ceasefire as "an opportunity to ratchet up the oppression of West Bank Palestinians."

They should not provoke Israel to avoid an escalating revenges. A ceasefire in Gaza does not affect operations elsewhere. Iran started this war and Israel will finish it when the nation's existence is no longer threatened. This war never ends because of different kinds of faith . It is nonsense like chasing the wind.
