Shop on your forum

Do you have a shop on your forum, what do you sell, do you sell physical and digital products that have real world value, or are you selling products like forum name change, signature links etc. just as a fun in your community. I recently started using Xenforo on one of the communities I co-own and have started running a shop. I have not added a lot of products yet but I will soon add more.

It is an addon on xenforo generally.

My forum has a points shop. Eventually we will have a option to buy points, and sell our merchandise for points/forum credits.

If you want to sell merch for your forum credits, how would you ensure that you are not at loss. I am asking this because merch costs money and the credits on your forum are free to earn for the users.
