There are some customers that used to patronize a particular business regularly before. Along the line, they stopped patronizing that business.

As a business owner, should I keep relating with him or her? Should I still keep on checking up on the customer?

It’s wise to stay in touch with a customer even if they’ve stopped supporting you for now. Customers stop buying for a variety of reasons, but that doesn’t mean they won’t come back. Showing concern and continuing to communicate respectfully can make them feel valued and come back. You can also learn why they left and use that knowledge to improve your services. Good customer relationships are built over time, not just with a quick sale.

A business owner should not neglect customers that used to patronize them before. Some customers are going through financial challenges. And that is why it seems like they are no longer patronizing.

Past customers are not to be ignored at all, some are struggling with difficult life circumstances. A business owner needs to be patient and compassionate. Real relationships are built on trust and not just money. Some will only come back when they have settled down. Absolutely true.
