So I was in a grocery shop today and all of a sudden, one of the customers that was shopping fell and fainted. There was rancour everywhere. And somehow, the patient was rushed to the hospital.

But people criticized the management of the grocery shop for not having equipment for first aid.

Should a non health business compulsorily have first aid equipment?

I think for their own sake, they should have first aid equipment. If something happens to someone in their business premises and they can't do anything to rescue the situation, it is bad publicity which would not help the business to grow.

It is irresponsibility for a business to have emergency aid materials like first aid. We don't know when a health related issue might happen and it warrants the use of first aid materials.
Yes there's need for the business cehters to cater for the health need of a worker during emergencies with first aid.

I think it would be a wise choice for business places to have first aids kits. Anything can happen at anytime.
Yes, it is good to have first sid around to help people that might need it at any point in time.
