Should businesses post memes and jokes?

During a business seminar, one of the speakers said it is wrong for a business to post memes or jokes but strictly post about their business, personally i feel posting about your business alone might become boring and tiresome to some of your clients. What's your take on this?

Businesses, as far as my observations are concerned, don't post memes or jokes; however, they merged them in their slogan.

Business is not a war zone. If the memes are related to the products and operations of the business, nothing wrong to post it and have fun with your audience.

Aaah the truth is that if you post only business stuff people will get bored very quickly. It's good to mix it up a bit with memes or jokes to keep the vibe fresh and people stay engaged. Even customers like to see a little humanity and not just a sales machine. Balance is everything.

I think you are right, people often like a brand that has a sense of humor at the end of the day.

Definitely, it would be a unique thing to do for people that come across your brand. You would make them stress free.
