It is expected that a business that is up to five years old should be able to generate enough funds to meet it's running costs and provide profits to the owner. Such profits can be used to develop the business.

Should I still spend my personal business on a business after five years of the business running?

In this case it depends on you, do you still see potential in the business? Do you still have enough person funds to keep pumping in? If you stop pumping in and the business falls, what plans do you have next, these are the things to consider.
