Should savings be taught to children?

Developing the mindset of a child is one of the best things a parent would do for his/her own child. This will help the child to abstain from unnecessary spending of money.

This will lead to secure funds and only be used when there is a need. Do you teach your child to save?

Of course parents have to teach their children to save, I remember when I was little I was taught to save in piggy banks made of clay, some in the shape of cats and tigers. So that makes me motivated to save.
