Dear Discussion Bucks Members,

I want to sincerely apologize for the recent delay in processing payment requests. As many of you know, Fords8 has taken over ownership of Discussion Bucks, but he had a pre-planned trip with his wife during this time. Before leaving, he personally asked if I could handle the end-of-month payments, and I agreed.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control, I was unable to process the payments by the scheduled date of September 30, 2024. As many of you may already know, Hurricane Helene devastated several states across the USA, including parts of Tennessee. Although my local area was fortunate enough to maintain power, the chaos surrounding the storm has been overwhelming, heartbreaking, and numbing.

Additionally, my work life has been extremely busy, as I am in the retail sector, and we have been inundated with customers buying items for donation, sending money to hurricane victims, and more. Compounding the situation, my employer has reduced staff hours due to the economy, leaving me working alongside only one other individual—our cashier—making every shift exhausting as I try to juggle numerous responsibilities.

I understand that many of you were likely concerned about the payments, and I deeply regret not updating you sooner. I am pleased to inform you that all pending payment requests have now been processed and paid. I want to emphasize that this delay is entirely my responsibility and not Fords8's. Please do not direct any frustration toward him, as he has kindly checked in on me throughout his vacation to ensure my safety during the hurricane.

Once again, I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your understanding during this difficult time.

Thank you for your patience and continued support.

Sincerely,
Devin

Hi @Devin, there's nothing to apologize. It's a normal thing. Everything happens for a reason. Don't take it seriously. We all understand and we never think of any negativity. You're too kind to explain well. Thank you so much for being forever kind and friendly. God bless you more and your family. We miss you every day. Keep safe.

I forgot to cash out. May I request it now because I think I may face problems to get it when the owner has changed.
It's explained that the paying method is the same every 15th and 30th of the month under the new administration. Let's hope @Devin could process your payment despite late. Let's hope and pray.

And why do you think you will have issues when the owner changes? And by the way, ownership has already changed.

This is because on the other sites when the ownership changed, I didn't notice the announcement that a member must request the payment as the account will be set to zero. My earnings were lost until I requested the issue with the previous owner. I was paid but had some issues, so I didn't want the same thing to happen here.

Devin said in his post that the payment released remained the same, every 15th and 30th of the month. But just wait, who knows you will be paid. I hope you are aid now,

I do not intend to start over from scratch. I plan to draft an announcement detailing several items this weekend, with the intention of publishing it by Sunday. The withdrawal dates will also remain unchanged. All pending request after @Devin made the original post in this topic with be handled on the 15th.

For members who may assume for the worst regarding payments, I want to kindly state that Fords8 gave me the necessary funds to process payments on the last day September. That was not my personal funds, so please do not be alarmed, Fords8 has already paid the first round of payments. Account balances will NOT be reset, and things will continue full speed ahead with minimal changes to D Bucks and how they function.

You have the entire team behind you @fords8. Can't wait to see the minor changes that you are going to ring.

@Devin, thanks for the smooth transition.
