Singer Adekunle Gold has made history as the first artiste to sell out a show at the newly renovated Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts in Lagos
The achievement came on December 26, 2025, when Adekunle Gold filled the 3,560-seat venue—formerly the National Theatre—for his concert, Fuji. The event was among the first major live music performances hosted at the centre following its reopening in October 2025.

Adekunle Gold is a great and talented musician! He is exceptional talented and am not surprised that he sold out tickets! He is one of the best Christian musicians ever to achieve such feat in Nigeria.
