Singer Portable Reportedly Remanded In Jail Until Further Notice..
Portable has been remanded in prison after a Federal High Court in Ota, Ogun State, denied him bail on multiple charges ranging from assault and resisting arrest to the alleged theft of a Mercedes‑Benz E300 valued at ₦12 million. The charges stem from a New Year’s Day incident at his bar in Iyana Ilogbo, where he was accused of attacking his estranged partner, Ashabi Simple, as well as several police officers who attempted to intervene.
The court insisted that key witnesses, including a female police inspector reportedly assaulted during the confrontation, must be present before bail can be considered.
