Most homes in the West and USA have thermostats because of the intense cold over there. There are now smart Thermostats that are installed at home that you can control the heat or generates from anywhere that you are.

That could be a good way to save energy costs on heat generation. Anyone using a smart Thermostat at home?
 
Those smart Thermostats have dedicated smartphone apps that are used to control them remotely. You can even use it to schedule the temperature ranges.
