Smartphones not getting charged at some outlets

I noticed that smartphones and other gadgets are not getting charged at some power outlets, the same smartphones are getting charged if other power outlets are being used. What could be the reason for this charging problem?

For me l have never experienced such a scenario before. I have been charging my smartphone without problems on almost all the power outlets available in my location

I had recently travelled to another state for personal work and I noticed that the smartphones were not getting charged using the power outlet in the hall, they were getting charged elsewhere.

Maybe, the power supplied by those outlets is not enough to power the phone enough to charge the battery.

Check if those outlets are still working. It might have some loose connections or the charger incompatible with those outlets.

Most cases, it's possible that those outlets are not getting enough power supplied to them hence the reason why things don't charge there.
