Social media influencer, Suraj Oyewale arrested for domestic violence

Social media influencer, Suraj Oyewale popularly known as Sir Jarus, has been arrested for domestic violence. He had earlier admitted to beating his wife of 14 years because she tried to stop him from exercising his “Islamic right to pick a second wife”


Sir Jarus, had in a now-deleted tweet on X, accused his wife of engaging in fetish practices and provocative behaviour, which he claimed led to the beatings

He was arrested yesterday Wednesday, July 3, 2024, an investigation is ongoing now
