I have purchased new Dell and Logitech keyboards, yet I find that they are not functioning properly. Some keystrokes are not getting recorded causing spelling mistakes and wasting time. Is there any reliable software for testing the keyboard?

Passmark Software has a keyboard test. You can download the free version. Not sure what limits they put on it. The single user is 29.00 it looks like.
