According to the report, an Israeli firm, Silynx Communications Inc., is giving soldiers a new battlefield edge with its CLARUS II in-ear tactical headset, recently proven in NATO field trials.
The report stated that it was conducted by a NATO counterterrorist unit; the trials reportedly demonstrated how the next-gen tech keeps troops communicating, protected, and alert to battlefield threats.
The report also stated that the rugged, lightweight headset merges secure multi-channel tactical communications with high-performance hearing protection. At its heart is the Control Box, a waterproof device that manages audio, powers the headset, and allows intuitive control even while wearing gloves.
The report said that operators can monitor and switch between up to three communication channels simultaneously, giving flexible mission comms without extra weight or cables.
The report added that CLARUS 11’s standout feature is Silynx Drone Detection, which amplifies motor and rotor frequencies of aerial threats to help forces detect them from greater distances.
In addition, Whisper Mode lets operators communicate quietly in sensitive environments, using the Protego Pro’s environmental mic to capture low-volu. The headset also offers seamless connectivity with smartphones, tactical tablets, and other mission devices via USB-C, lightning, smart-radio cables, or encrypted Bluetooth.me speech without raising their voice.
