To respect someone he/she has to be respected in turn. In India normally women who are homemakers are not treated properly, neither by their husbands nor their in-laws or their children later on. That's the reason most women has started making a career before marriage and divorces are increasing as working women have stopped tolerating nonsense.

I could not agree more. We have different personalities and if the other party can’t accept that, the relationship is bound to fail.

It is unfortunate that some individuals disregard homemakers, assuming they do not contribute much to the family. The fact is, being a homemaker is a difficult job that entails massive effort and dedication.
