Someone just sent me money and I did not ask for it. How does that work?

One of my very regular customers just sent money to my bank account. I thought it was a mistake. I called her to find out. She said she just felt like gifting me money. I was really shocked. How does someone feel like just sending money to someone?

Is there a more than physical dimension that would propel someone to send another money?

You can call the money sender, it means you know that person, that person might be interested in you, and give a gift of money, if the amount of money is small maybe there won't be a problem,
Indeed, if the money is intended for a snack, there is no need to worry about it, but if millions, wow, that will be fantastic, that will make my brain elastic

Receiving millions of dollars would certainly be frightening, especially after a scammer calls us, pretending to have transferred the wrong amount, and asks us to return only 80%, or $800. We receive $200, but the next day we receive a notification from the online lending platform that we've taken out a $1 million loan.

That will be crucial f it occurs in reality. But it happened at my workplace 6 years ago, employees received huge money, and we were all terrified. I never touched a single cent. The bank ordered to return the money. There was a glitch made by the bank🤣.

You said she is your regular customer which means she keeps coming back because she is getting customer satisfaction from you. It's possible she got some extra cash that day and she thought of sending you something just as a way to appreciate you.
