Heavy rains in southern Ecuador have caused flooding, which led to a cleanup operation that started on Tuesday. The rains made the Zamora and Malacatos rivers overflow, which resulted in the collapse of a bridge and damage to several buildings. Loja, a city with a population of 215,000, was particularly affected by the flooding. Authorities have warned that more rain is expected on Wednesday, advising residents to stay alert and take precautions.

I can't really explain why there are so many natural disasters this year. We just hope we would have no casualties any longer from these natural disasters.

I have also thought about this, since the beginning of this year, there have been one natural disaster or the other happening in different places.
