I’ve realized that living with less isn’t just about clearing space — it can save money, too. Once you start to really question what you’re buying, it becomes clear just how much in life most of us don’t actually need. It’s not a matter of deprivation but about selecting what enriches your life.

Do you believe that minimalism can actually help people manage money better? Or is it just a fad that’s difficult to stick with over the long haul?

Yes, sometimes when we look at the things we've bought, a lot of them is not really necessary. When I was working full time, I used to buy a lot of shoes. Some I just wore once or twice. Now, I am a freelancer. Income is unstable. I am more discipline when spending money. I just buy what I need, and I never spend more than I earn.

I believe that being a minimalistic person, there's less worries about spending because there's control on your part. Revklessness is one factor why some individuals suffer finances. They lack orientation and a strategic planning and budgeting in a minimalistic way. Life feels better being a minimalist.
