Subsidiaries offered by the governments

Most governments in my region have the tendency to offer subsidies on essentially products as a means of controlling prices. Do you think that subsidies provides a lasting solution for reduction of essential product prices?

Yes that's the whole essence of it. Government comes to give subsidies that would help make the purchase of products a lot cheaper

What the government offer is ment to be cheaper, but these days only selected persons have access to this due to corruption.
