The driver's knee is a general term for discomfort surrounding the patella/kneecap, and occurs in front of the knee. Driving can exacerbate this painful condition as it involves an extended period of sitting.
Maybe that's why it is called Driver's knee. I don't like any pains on the body hopefully I don't go through it
