Okay, so Switzerland is known for running like clockwork, right? But this winter storm? It's totally messed with that image. What really gets me is how even the best systems can be brought down by nature. I'm sure it's super annoying for people who depend on trains being on time, especially during their work day.
still, and I can cannot help but be fascinated by how quickly the people in charge jump into action to get things back on track. What's really amazing to watch is how well passengers deal with it all. Most folks just roll with the punches and stay patient.
For me, the number one thing is that everyone stays safe, you know? Even if that means trains are late and plans get changed. i think these kinds of storms remind us that as good as technology and plans can be, there is only so much we can control when Mother Nature decides to do her thing. It is just life.
